Tentang program ini

The energy transition is moving quickly, and Indonesia aims for net-zero emissions by 2060 — 2050 in the energy sector. Renewable energy is still projected at only 24% of the national mix by 2030, short of what a 1.5°C pathway requires.

There are concerns that the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) could support false solutions that keep the coal industry in place. Women and girls from low-income households may also bear the brunt of inadequate access to clean, affordable energy.

We for JET promotes gender justice and inclusivity as key indicators of a just energy transition in Indonesia, working with coalition networks, the JETP Secretariat, the Energy Transition Task Force, EITI, PLN and renewable-energy associations, women’s groups, local government, and grassroots communities.
