Open Government Indonesia
BerjalanStrengthening Legal Frameworks and Strategic Coordination for Sustainable Open Government in Indonesia
Reinforcing the legal, coordination, and accountability foundations of Open Government Indonesia so reform lasts beyond a single action plan.
2026 – present

Tentang program ini
Indonesia has made notable progress through the Open Government Indonesia (OGI) initiative. Long-term effectiveness still depends on stronger legal frameworks, cross-sectoral coordination, and consistent, inclusive accountability.
PWYP Indonesia is working to close the gap between formal arrangements and practice, and to build a more coordinated and sustainable open government ecosystem. The initiative is designed to strengthen existing systems so results last beyond the project period.
With its experience in transparency and accountability, PWYP Indonesia acts as a facilitator and bridge between government and civil society, keeping reform inclusive and grounded in a foundation that can sustain progress.
Tujuan
Strengthen the policy foundation through an evidence-based strategic document that justifies enhancing OGI’s legal framework.
Support the Multi-Stakeholder Forum as the central platform for government–civil society collaboration, including better governance of thematic working groups.
Expand civil society engagement in the OGP agenda, including regional CSOs, youth groups, and disability organisations.
Contribute civil society and multi-stakeholder inputs to the monitoring and evaluation framework of the OGP National Action Plan.
