Tentang program ini

JETP and Indonesia’s Energy Transition Mechanism have become central vehicles for the shift to renewable energy. Both still lean on the technical side of acceleration. This project argued for equal weight on the human element: livelihoods, underrepresented groups — particularly women — and community-driven planning.

PWYP Indonesia worked with PWYP Asia Pacific members and the Bersihkan Indonesia coalition, using feminist-lens research, campaigns, and government dialogue (JETP, ASEAN, ETM), including collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Tujuan

Strengthen CSOs and women’s rights organisations for an inclusive, gender-just energy transition.

Ensure the government implements a gender-justice component in the national energy-transition plan.

Scoping study on the feminist lens in energy transition at national level, followed by a public discussion.

Outreach and dialogue with ASEAN stakeholders, including the Ministry of ESDM, ASEAN Centre for Energy, and the JETP Secretariat.

SEA CSO regional webinar and regional convening.

A module for CSOs and WROs on campaigning and advocating gender inclusivity.

Campaign materials across web, infographic, video, and social media, plus media visits and briefings.

Workshops, audiences, and policy dialogue with relevant ministries and agencies.
